I hate Ghorst. I hate this fucking corpse with a passion. I cannot iterate how much I hate that every Ku'gath campaign I try and play is gated behind the worst match up my ulcerated corneas have seen. I can't go north until I enter the endless crucible that is Ghorst and his morgue of antifun bullshit. I would give Tzeentch literally anything Nurgle, Slaanesh, Khorne, and Tzeentch are the entities they are right now because those negative emotions coalesced into them. They are accredited with positive traits, but these entities do not champion them—that's simply not what they are. Never does Nurgle spread life, never does Slaanesh sow anything close to love, and never does Nurgle's main enemy among the Chaos Gods is Tzeentch, the Lord of Change, because the two gods' power is derived from opposing sources. Tzeentch embodies the hopes and ambition of mortals to better their circumstances, while Nurgle is their defiance born of the hopelessness and despair at their inevitable decline and death. Nurglish Daemons Warhammer 40k. Tzeentch is one of the four main Chaos Gods in Warhammer 40k - the god of change, lies, knowledge and sorcery. Each of the Chaos Gods is created by, and feeds off, different emotions and desires. In Tzeentch's case, he is sustained by mortals' imaginations, dreams, or desires for change, and his physical form reflects this. In truth, I almost always envision them as a 'mix' between Nurgle and Tzeentch, two gods that hate each other but created this scheeming, creative, magic wielding and addicted to it, and also plague spreading horde of monstruosities. Even though part of their charm is really the mystery that comes with their creation and so forth. The followers of Nurgle often pit themselves against those of Tzeentch in complex political intrigues in the mortal realm, forever attempting to mire his schemes for change in dull-minded conservatism and parochial self-interest. Nurgle is the God of helplessness, despair and self-loathing. Mortarion hated himself as a psyker and was forced into a corner to turn his entire Legion because of his helplessness. He doesn't need to "embrace" Nurgle. He's already one of his favourites. Nurgle loves to spite him so he can push him into more self-loathing and helplessness. He does in the sense that his patronage of decay and despair is antithetical to the hope and change of Tzeentch. But Tzeentch has a very close relationship with Cathay, so much so that there are Tzeentch cults within the Cathayan aristocracy. There is a fair bit of personal beef between Nurgle and Slaanesh at the end of the day, as well. Khorne hates Nurgle the least out of the Pantheon. It goes Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and then everything and everyone else. grayheresy • 4 yr. ago. He hates slaanesh the most because They are the other side of the coin to Khorne in warfare, Nurgles more disgusting and annoying and Tzeentch isn't below his contempt for using magic. The Imperium gives Khorne's servants enemies to fight, and the Imperials tend not to fight as dirty as the servants of the other Chaos Gods. I would be left with the impression Khorne would dislike the Emperor or Imperials to a lesser extent than Tzeentch (who fights indirectly or uses cheap shots), Slaanesh, or Nurgle (who kills slowly and Khorne ( Kharneth or Kharnath in the Dark Tongue) is the Chaos God of War, Anger, Murder, Strength, Skulls and Bloodshed. Of the four powers, Khorne is typically considered both the eldest and the strongest. He is the patron of warriors and any slaughter done in anger or within the throes of hatred empowers him. Savage barbarian or honorable soldier, all men who engage in bloodsport and bloody Warhammer 40,000 [a] is a miniature wargame produced by Games Workshop. It is the most popular miniature wargame in the world, [1] [2] [3] and is particularly popular in the United Kingdom. [4] The first edition of the rulebook was published in September 1987, and the tenth and current edition was released in June 2023. Tzeentch is cool, but their threat is kind of vague compared to khorne and nurgle, who visually communicate how they threaten you pretty clearly. I think thousand sons would make a great protagonist for a game, and it'd give the devs a chance to shoehorn in a lot of the underrated or lesser known demon lore. On innumerable occasions Tzeentch's intricate plots have been foiled by Nurgle's malign influence, and the two Chaos Gods' Daemonic and mortal servants clash as often with each other as with their mutual enemies in the Imperium and among the xenos species. Origins of the Sacred Numbers. The 4 Chaos Gods each have a sacred number. Khorne is 8, Nurgle is 7, Tzeentch is 9, Slaanesh is 69. I know that Tzeentches number 9 is special cause all his scrolls only work after the 9th sigil or incantation or whatever but is there a reason why these numbers are special. Why does Khorne favour 8, or does he .
